Steps for activating your membership on kide.app

Hey! You've contacted us with the question to activate your membership. Maybe you missed/skipped over the information in the description on kide.app and the text in the sign-up form, so here it is again:

To be a member of ESN FINT in Tampere you must be either a student or an intern in the Pirkanmaa region, the province of Tampere.

There is two ways for us to verify that you're a student or intern in the Pirkanmaa region;

1. You buy the membership here on Kide with your Kide account that is linked to your university email (@tuni.fi or @hamk.fi). Since you can only have access to such email address with study rights, we can verify that you're a student this way. We will activate your membership within seven days after purchase, but usually quicker.

2. You buy the membership on kide.app with any email address, and then do one of the following:

   1. Verify your membership by filling the membership verification form, found at the button link at the bottom of the page.

   2. Visit us at the clubroom and prove your status by showing your student card or a student certificate issued in Finland or in your home country. If needed, we will also ask to see your intership agreement.

Your membership is only activated an valid once we validated you're a student or intern. This can take a few days and we hope for your understanding. We will always verify student statusses before big events go on sale, but make sure you're on time with buying your membership. We ask you to only contact us to verify your membership if it has been more than 7 days since you've bought the membership or filled the verification form, it's still inactive, and you haven't heard from us.
